Emrah Yucel.

Emrah Yucel is the founder of the Turkish Film Council (TFC), an organization that bridges the Turkish film industry and Hollywood, lobbying to raise the profile of Turkish film in the US. Through the Council's work on legislative groundwork, the Turkish parliament passed incentives that have drawn foreign filmmakers to shoot on location in Turkey, including Sony Pictures' The International, starring Clive Owen and Naomi Watts, filmed in Istanbul, helping establish Turkey as one of the industry's preferred filming destinations. 

 Alongside this work, Yucel develops film projects of his own, with 40 marking his first credit as a producer. His jury experience includes the 2007 Antalya International Film Festival and the 2008 Lucie Awards, honoring international photography. His accolades span the Key Art Awards, the PromaxBDA Awards, a Webby Award, and a Sunset Billboard Award, and in 2009 he and his team were named Designer of the Year by the International Design Awards. Most recently, the United Nations World Tourism Organization recognized his campaign for Turkish tourism as the best country advertising effort in Europe.
