Freddy Curiél.

Founder and Creative Director of LAPIS BUREAU Freddy Curiél is an Italian architect and landscape designer based in Shenzhen, and the Founder and Creative Director of LAPIS BUREAU, a multidisciplinary design agency specializing in landscape, architecture, products, and interior design. A graduate with honors from IUAV Venice, Politecnico di Milano, and TU Delft, his career spans Europe and Asia, marked by significant cultural contributions including serving as Co-Curator of the Italian Pavilion at the UABB 2013 and Executive Production Manager for UABB 2019 curated by Carlo Ratti.

A recipient of the European Designer of the Year award in 2019, his portfolio features international clients such as Luxottica, Cassina, Giorgetti, Tencent, BOSCH, and the MoMA Design Store. Beyond his practice, he is a lecturer, an active jury member, and invited speaker. The works of his studio have been widely published internationally and exhibited at the SZ-HK Bi-City Biennale, Venice Biennale, Shenzhen Urban Furniture Fair, Salone del Mobile, and several Design Weeks across China.
