Entrants retain ownership of their submitted work and underlying intellectual property rights, subject to any rights owned by clients, agencies, employers, collaborators, or third parties.
Entrants further represent and warrant that they own or control all rights, licenses, releases, permissions, and approvals necessary for the submission, judging, publication, and promotion of the work, including but not limited to rights in music, sound recordings, talent and performer likenesses, third-party trademarks, stock or licensed materials, and any client, brand, agency, or collaborator approvals required.
By submitting work, the entrant grants ADS Awards a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, publish, edit for format, distribute, and promote submitted materials in connection with the competition, judging, winner announcements, website archives, exhibitions, social media, newsletters, press, editorial content, publications, certificates, trophies, and promotional materials.
This license is intended to allow ADS Awards to operate and promote the competition and its entrants. It does not transfer copyright ownership to ADS Awards.
